Our Story

A trusted partner in energy & engineering

Texas Solutech was founded in 2013 to address challenges within the electrical and energy sector across East Africa. Over 13+ years we have grown into the indispensable consultant for banks, regulators, donors, industrial groups, hyperscale data centres and utilities.

From utility-scale solar plants and ATEX/Ex electrical safety audits to LEED building commissioning, calibration services and geothermal advisory, we deliver the full lifecycle of energy projects — feasibility, design, installation, commissioning and long-term support.

Our work spans Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Rwanda. We are headquartered in Nairobi with a second office in Nakuru, and our multidisciplinary team — including Professional Engineers (PE) — is united by a single goal: to help our clients save money, stay safe and reduce their environmental footprint.
